Further tickets for England’s ICC Champions Trophy clash with Australia are now on sale.

Alastair Cook’s side kick off their attempt to emerge triumphant in the event on home soil at Edgbaston on Saturday June 8 against the old enemy.

Supporters can purchase tickets for that clash as well as a contest between international cricket’s other great rivals, India and Pakistan.

The latter takes place a week later, also at Edgbaston, with those interested in either urged to visit the ICC website or call 0844 249 2013.

ICC chief executive David Richardson, looking forward to the tournament, said: “With only 60 days to go to the ICC Champions Trophy 2013, excitement and anticipation around this event is building not only in the host countries of England and Wales, but also across the world.

“We have been delighted with the interest shown so far and the second phase of ticket sales provides cricket followers with another unique opportunity to see live the world’s top 50-over cricketers play for national pride as well as the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.”

Adult tickets for the Champions Trophy are priced in three categories – Gold, Silver and Family Stand – and range from £20 (for a group game in the Family Stands) up to £60 (Gold ticket for the final).

Tickets for under-16s are priced at £5 for the entire tournament (including the final), but those who purchase must attend with an adult.
