[JURIST] Human Rights Watch (HRW) [advocacy website] criticized [press release] the government of Sri Lanka on Monday for not repealing its “Draconian” counterterrorism law. HRW accused the government of using the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) [text] to arbitrarily detain and torture suspects.
